Today we were brainstorming and planning for our very first Live Friday event on 3rd March 2017. We are creating ideas around JMW Turner’s paining of The High Street, Oxford 1810, so visited the gallery to remind ourselves of the painting.
We have been hard at work in the Education studio thinking about creative ideas, budgets, resources and how to get people involved in and enjoying our activities to discover more about the painting.
Som
e of our favourite ideas include ‘Turner Top of the Pops’ with popular music from Turners’ time, Spot the Difference, and drawing activity and we hope to include some dressing up. Come and see us in action on the 3rd to see which ideas made it through to the final selection.
